If you’ve rung in the New Year with a makeover for your living room, then Happy New Year to you! The upholstery fabric for a new couch or chair is a big investment. How will you keep upholstery looking new?

When (not if) your furniture is stained, don’t think you need to pay hefty reupholstery fees or professional cleaning fees. White Wizard® gently removes everything from wine and coffee stains to chewing gum in seconds, including stains that have already set in.*

How to Keep Upholstery Looking New

To clean a stain from your upholstery, follow these simple steps.

1. Check for Cleaning Instructions

Check your furniture for its cleaning codes. If your furniture doesn’t have a cleaning code, do a simple spot test with White Wizard® on a hidden part of the upholstery.

2. Blot with Water and a Sponge

If you can clean your furniture with water, mix a little dish soap with cold water and, using a slightly damp sponge, blot the stain with the soap mixture. Be careful not to rub the stain. Rubbing can weaken and pill your fabric. Rinse the sponge and use only water to blot out some of the soap mixture. Press dry with a cloth or paper towels.

3. Clean with White Wizard®

Apply a dollop of our odorless and non-toxic miracle cream and wipe away clean. Depending on where the stain is (for example, a pillow cover), launder the item.

4. Rinse and Repeat

If the stain has survived this entire cleaning process, it might be set in deep into the fabric. As annoying as the process can be, doing it all over again can give you the result you’re looking for.

Expert Tip: Keep your upholstery in good shape by vacuuming. Regular vacuuming prevents dust and crumbs from settling into the furniture’s crevices.

*White Wizard® will NOT remove permanent dyes, permanent inks, or red-colored drinks since most contain red dye no. 5.
