Top 10 Hardest to Remove Stains

Coffee and Tea

  1. Wick away any excess liquid.
  2. Sponge or soak stain in cool water.
  3. With a clean towel on the back of the stain, apply White Wizard® Pretreat with White Wizard® and allow to sit for at least 30 minutes before laundering.
  4. Launder as recommended on the label.

Gum

  1. Apply ice or cold water to harden the surface, then scrape with a dull knife.
  2. Saturate with White Wizard®.
  3. Rinse, then launder.

Peanut Butter

  1. Scrape away any excess peanut butter.
  2. Scrub lightly with White Wizard®.
  3. Launder, using the hottest water that’s safe for the fabric.

Mustard

  1. Wipe away any excess mustard careful not to smear the stain.
  2. Flush under cold water to loosen the stain, and then pretreat with White Wizard®.
  3. Launder, using the hottest water that’s safe for the fabric. Add bleach to the wash also – preferably chlorine bleach. (Check the care label to see if it is safe for the fabric.)

Berry Juice

For Fabric:

  1. Pretreat stain with White Wizard®.
  2. Launder as recommended on the label.

For Carpet:

  1. Wick away as much liquid as possible with a clean towel.
  2. Saturate the stain with White Wizard® and wick away moisture.
  3. Sponge or soak stain in cool water.
  4. Dab with a dry, clean towel.
  5. Repeat if needed.

Tomato-Based Sauces

  1. Working from the back of the stain, flush it with cold water.
  2. Pretreat with White Wizard®, using an up-and-down motion with a soft brush to break up the stain.
  3. Rinse well.
  4. Sponge with white vinegar and rinse again.
  5. Repeat, treating the stain with stain remover, then with white vinegar until you’ve removed as much stain as possible.
  6. Launder as recommended on the label.

Baby Food

  1. Pretreat stain with White Wizard®.
  2. Soak for at least 30 minutes or several hours for aged stains.
  3. Launder as recommended on the label.

Red Wine

For Fabric:

  1. Sponge the stain with cool water or soak it in cool water for about 30 minutes.
  2. Pretreat with White Wizard®.
  3. Launder according to label instructions. If safe for the fabric, add chlorine bleach to the wash.

For Carpet/Upholstery:

  1. Wick as much of the wine as possible.
  2. Spray with a generous amount of White Wizard® and wick away with a clean towel.
  3. Repeat if necessary

Chocolate

  1. When the stain strikes, gently scrape off any excess chocolate.
  2. Once you get the item home, soak it in cool water.
  3. Then pretreat with a White Wizard®.
  4. Launder in the hottest water that’s safe for the fabric.

Grease or Butter

    Light Stains:

  1. Pretreat with White Wizard®.
  2. Launder using hottest water safe for fabric; this will help dissolve the grease or oil.

Heavy Stains:

  1. Place stain face down on clean paper towels. Apply White Wizard® to back of stain.
  2. Replace paper towels under stain frequently.
  3. Let dry, rinse. Launder using hottest water safe for fabric.
